Nestled at 103 Bellevue Way NE, this cozy spot captures the heart of Japanese cuisine, offering a menu that highlights the rich and comforting flavors of Hokkaido-style ramen.

As you step into the restaurant, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly suited for both intimate dinners and family gatherings. The staff exudes friendliness and professionalism, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

The menu at Santouka is a tribute to the artistry of ramen-making, featuring a variety of options to cater to every palate. The Karamiso Tsukemen is a standout dish, with its rich, spicy soybean paste that tempts your taste buds to dive into a world of flavor. For a more classic experience, the Shoyu Tsukemen, crafted with the restaurant's signature soy sauce, delivers a deep, savory taste that warms the soul.

And let's not forget the tantalizing appetizers! The Takoyaki, crispy fried octopus balls drizzled with savory sauce, are a must-try – a dish that's as delightful to eat as it is to share. The Karaage also deserves a mention, with its perfectly marinated deep-fried chicken that’s golden and crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

Dining here is not just about the food; it’s about the complete experience. Reviewers rave about the exceptional service they receive. One customer, Jones, shares, “Amazing, fresh, piping hot food and excellent service from the whole restaurant.” This sentiment is echoed by others who appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and the restaurant's thoughtful children’s menu.

However, a common theme among patrons is the challenge of parking, given Santouka's prime location. It may take a little patience, but the mouthfuls of hearty ramen awaiting you inside are absolutely worth the effort.

For those who cherish ramen as an art form, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Bellevue stands as a beacon of authenticity and flavor. Don’t miss your chance to indulge in this culinary gem in the heart of Bellevue!

We really enjoyed our time at Hokkaido Santouka Bellevue! Amazing, fresh, piping hot food and excellent service from the whole restaurant. Family friendly as well, with perfectly portioned kids' sizes. I had the Vegetarian Ramen. It was terrific. Our party loved it! We will be back!

We love coming here! The food is delicious and they have a kids menu that our kids ask for all the time. The service is top notch, we have been served by Aaron multiple times and he’s amazing, calm and friendly.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Bellevue downtown is hands down our favorite ramen spot on the east side, both for its location and the quality of its food. However, parking can be a challenge since the restaurant is in the heart of Bellevue. The small parking lot fills up quickly, and street parking in front is often hard to find. We usually end up parking farther away and walking. The line can get long, especially during peak times, and the waiting area is small, which can be inconvenient during cold weather. But honestly, the food makes it all worth it! The restaurant itself is medium-sized with a variety of table options to accommodate different group sizes. The menu has a great range of ramen dishes, appetizers, and even non-ramen items. My personal favorite is the Toro Niku Ramen with Kara Miso. The pork cheek is tender and flavorful, and there’s plenty of meat. The soup has just the right amount of spice, and the portion size is perfect—filling but not overwhelming. We’ve tried the standard ramen as well, and while it’s still good, it doesn’t come with as much meat as the Toro Niku. We also gave the seasonal citrus cold ramen a try, but it didn’t impress us as much as their original ramen dishes. For an added bonus, make sure to download their app and register for points. You can earn promotions for free appetizers or toppings, and I often score a free appetizer each visit with the app! In terms of price, it’s similar to other ramen places, maybe a little on the higher side due to the downtown location. But the quality of the food and the overall experience make it a worthwhile visit every time.

If you’re a ramen lover in the Bellevue area, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is an absolute must-try. I’ve been to a lot of ramen spots around the Seattle area, but this one consistently stands out for its authenticity, quality, and cozy atmosphere. Every time I come here, I leave full, happy, and already planning my next visit. The ramen here is on another level — rich, flavorful, and comforting in the best possible way. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the broth; it’s perfectly balanced, not too salty, and has that deep umami flavor that only comes from hours of simmering. I usually get the Tonkotsu Shio Ramen, and it’s honestly perfection. The broth is creamy and silky, the noodles have just the right amount of chew, and the toppings — from the tender chashu pork to the perfectly cooked egg — are spot on every single time. What I really appreciate is how consistent everything is here. Whether you go on a busy weekend evening or a random weekday lunch, the quality doesn’t drop. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always welcoming. Even when there’s a bit of a wait (which happens often because it’s that popular), they manage the crowd really well, and it’s always worth it once you’re seated. The atmosphere is cozy and casual — it feels like a true Japanese ramen shop. It’s not fancy or pretentious, just clean, warm, and inviting. You can tell a lot of the customers are regulars, which says a lot. It’s the kind of place where you can come alone for a quick comforting meal or bring friends to share a bunch of sides and try different broths. Speaking of sides, definitely don’t skip them! The gyoza are crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the karaage (fried chicken) is addictive — crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Pair it with a cold beer or some green tea, and you’ve got the perfect meal. All in all, Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Bellevue nails everything that makes ramen special: deep, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, great toppings, and that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home. It’s easily one of the best ramen spots in the Eastside — and honestly, it rivals some of the best places I’ve tried in Japan. Highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic, comforting ramen done right!

The Takoyaki was great! We also tried the shio ramen which was delicious. Only downside is they don’t allow ordering extra noodles on the side. Parking lot was pretty small, you have to be lucky to get a spot. Service was fast and friendly, would visit again.

A cozy ramen spot nestled in the heart of Bellevue. While the experience was enjoyable, it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the glowing reviews. Dishes tried: Chicken Karaage, Miso Ramen, and Vegetarian Ramen. Verdict: • The Chicken Karaage was crisp and flavorful – a solid starter. • The Miso Ramen was equally satisfying, rich and comforting. • The Vegetarian Ramen, though well-balanced, leaned toward the milder side; a dash of chili sauce definitely helped elevate the flavor. Overall, it’s a dependable place that won’t disappoint, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking. A good option when you’re in the area, just not a destination in itself.

I visited Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Bellevue yesterday (Saturday). It was pretty busy, but we didn’t have to wait long for a table — just about 7–10 minutes. The staff was friendly, and the place felt cozy and looked nice. It wasn’t too noisy, which I appreciated. There’s a big variety of ramen options, and the takoyaki was really tasty too. I’m not a huge ramen fan, but I actually enjoyed it. The prices were also quite reasonable.

This is a solid go-to spot for ramen lovers. The broth is rich, flavorful, and hits the spot without being overly salty. Noodles are cooked just right, and the toppings are fresh and satisfying. Their side dishes—especially the gyoza and fried chicken—are also worth trying. Service is friendly and efficient. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area and craving a comforting bowl of ramen.
